The pound shop is your friend!

A lot of people, some of you reading this possibly, see the pound shop (or the 99p varieties) as a place for the poor and unfortunate.

Here at Stay Thrifty we are proud to say that we love the pound shop and it can be your friend too.

Scenario: your a plumber, you have £2 in your pocket, your wallet is at home and you realise that your wrench and torch are in the garage from the late night D.I.Y, where do you go, the pound shop of course. You can get head mounted, regular and mini torches, an adjustable wrench, mini spanner sets the list goes on.

Some people don't even realise the wealth of stuff you can get at the pound shop. Everything you can get at your local supermarket, you can find in the pound shop, for a pound.

A lot of the stuff wont last as long as some more expensive items but for a pound it will last long enough and most importantly represent good value for money.

From Baby Wipes to Wrenches and Torches and all the bits and bobs in-between, the pound shop is your friend so be a mate and check in from time to time.
